Raccio Racing Wraps Up a Top-10 Season

Raccio Racing wrapped up the season October 3–4 at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl, with Anthony finishing 10th in the SK Light division for the 2026 season!

Saturday began with setting up the RV, staging the truck and trailer, and unloading the golf cart for the weekend. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, with sunshine bringing temperatures into the 70s. Although Anthony wasn’t scheduled to race until Sunday, arriving early gave us time to get settled and enjoy the track.

Once Saturday’s racing ended, we moved the truck and trailer into the pits, setting us up for a smooth Sunday morning. From there we gathered with friends to watch videos of the Saturday races. Having an RV full of people watching racing, laughing and just enjoying each other was the perfect ending to the day.

Sunday morning’s pit party was another highlight of the weekend! We had a great time meeting fans and sharing our love of racing—and Mom may have enjoyed sharing the Raccio Racing merch even more than seeing the cars! It was a fun way to connect with everyone before the racing got underway.

Racing on Sunday started well, with good practice sessions and Anthony finishing second in his heat. As the day progressed, clouds rolled in. Before the #18 even hit the track for the feature, the car cover was out of the trailer and over the car as rain came and went, leaving a lingering mist.

Anthony made a few adjustments for the changing track conditions, and during a break in the rain, the feature got underway. Starting fifth, he slipped back in the field and narrowly avoided a two-car crash directly ahead of him. He held his position on the restart before another yellow flag came out—this time for rain.

After a few minutes of waiting to see whether the weather would clear, officials called the race. The scheduled 25-lap feature ended after 21 laps with the red and checkered flags, bringing our finale weekend to a close a little earlier than we’d hoped.

We’re proud of Anthony and his 10th-place finish in the season standings, and thankful for everyone who helped the #18 along the way.

As we close out the season, we want to share our heartfelt thanks with our sponsors. We truly wouldn’t be able to experience racing without your support. Each and every one of you is dear to us, and we’re grateful to have you as part of the Raccio Racing family. We love sharing our updates with you, and it means so much when you can visit and spend time with us at the track. Thank you for believing in Anthony and helping make these experiences and memories possible for our family.
